What Ting collects, what it never keeps, and how to get rid of it.

Your Google account ID and email address when you sign in, the country you say you are from, the region and mode you pick, and a count of reports made about you.
We ask your date of birth once, to check that you are 18 or over. We keep only the answer to that check — the date itself is not stored or sent anywhere.
Video and audio are never recorded or stored — they go straight between the two phones. Chat messages are passed live and are never written to our database.
Only your trust score. Not your name, not your email, not your country, not your exact location.
Google, for sign-in and app infrastructure. Nobody buys your data from us and we do not sell it. We do not show advertising in Ting.
Open Settings in the app and choose Delete account. If you no longer have the app installed, see the Delete your account page — you can ask us by email and we will do it for you.
Ting is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly keep data about anyone under 18. If you believe a child is using Ting, write to us and we will remove the account.
