The rules for using Ting, and what happens when someone breaks them.
Last updated 7 September 2026
Ting is for adults only. If you are under 18, you may not use this app. Accounts that appear to belong to someone under 18 are removed without warning.
Ting connects you to a random person for a live video or voice call. We do not know who they are, and neither do you. Nobody is screened or background checked before a call.
No nudity or sexual content. No harassment, threats or hate speech. No spam, advertising or asking people for money. No recording people without their knowledge. No pretending to be someone else.
People can report you during a call. When several different people report the same account, matching is paused — first for a day, then longer, and eventually for good. We do not have to warn you first, and we do not owe you an explanation of who reported you.
Calls are live and go directly between two phones. We cannot see or review every call. You are responsible for what you show and say, and for leaving a call that makes you uncomfortable.
Ting is provided as is. We do not promise it will always be available, that you will be matched, or that the people you meet will behave. Use it at your own risk.
We may suspend or remove any account at any time, including for reasons not listed here, if we believe it protects other people using Ting.
